As does ABC journalist Sarah Ferguson, who wrote this searing three-part documentary about child sex abuse in the Catholic Church with her partner, Tony Jones, it’s best to steel yourself for her extensive interview with convicted paedophile priest, Vincent Ryan. The question of whether such a person deserves air time is answered by the incomprehensible responses Ferguson elicits from him, and her wider investigation that looks at the Church’s complicity and the survivors’ suffering.
